I agree with this one.

Most ele bosses do insane damage unless you have a Mesmer to stop them.

Mind Spectres in UW

Only mob that completely owned our 8 man party.

and OMFG, Ether-Breakers and Ice-Hands in FoW. They just piss me off. If you go for the icehands first, ether-breakers spike and interrupt the shiet out of you. If you go for the mesmers first, icehands cast deep freeze + Maelstrome and a whole bunch of other goodies!

Prophecies:
Ice Imps, they made me want to slit my wrists, summit giant herders are also nasty in packs.
Factions:
Dredges and the occasional Earth warden i failed to spot before launching an attack.
Nightfall:
Ruby Djinns would be first but theyre mostly alone and one Broad Head arrow away from useless. First place goes to the blade of corruption, Rain of terrors are only annoying when you don't bring interrupts.

Myself, I'm torn between the Ruby Djinn and the Jade Brotherhood Knight. The knight really has a lust for casters and unleashes devastating axe-based AoE. ......
Also consider the level a player first expect to encounter the particular group after "normal play".

It is a huge difference between a newbie lvl 20 player (without elite skills and who only partly have grasped many vital game concepts like pulling, interrupting etc) and a seasoned lvl 20 player who "has done it all".

The Jade Brotherhood teams is probably a big shock for a lot lvl 19 players coming straight from Shing Yea.

I shiver with the thought that I would have had to fight incoming groups of Jade Brothers at the final fight in Sanctum Keys.

"Zed" has been a family nickname for the males in my family for at least three generations. My great uncle, my father and his brother, and myself and my brothers (the yongest got dubbed "Little Zed".

I also used this in old Nintendo and arcade cames whenever I was asked for my name or initials. When I first went online in 1997 I added "The". I have been "The Zed" ever since.

All my other char are related to The Zed, slowly developing a family genology down the male line.

The Zed - Main character
Bobbie Zed - Wife of The Zed
Son of Zed - ...son of The Zed
Lily Zed - daughter of The Zed
Zed III - son of Son of Zed
ect.....

This also makes it easy for friends and guild-mates to know who I am when on one of my alt characters.

I definitely agree how ice imps and avicara are a pain in the ass.. those nightmarish times in mineral springs bring it all back.

But don't forget ancient skales, I know they are cheating with two elites. But -10 degen > me. They caused me so much deaths in FoW
